Heh. Like that means anything.
We're going to Washington, DC, in 10 days! They're sending David to do testing on August 24-26, so we'll drive down on the 23rd (his birthday), stay for 3 days, then drive back on the 27th. Sounds like a decent-length stay; not too long, but long enough to get in the major museums without boring Stephen. I imagine we'll spend the most time in the National History (trains) and Air & Space museums, and hopefully will get to the Natural History and Zoo, too. I also want to see the Cathedral again -- went the last time we were there, right after 9/11, and it was gorgeous. I'd *really* like to hear an organ recital there, but I don't think we'll be there at the right time. Our last trip (also when David was doing testing) was early November, 2001, so the whole city was in lock-down mode. Half of the gov't. buildings were off-limits, both because of the 9/11 events and the anthrax scare afterwards. I imagine they're more or less back to normal now... right?
Stephen's been all about "I have a idea!" lately. Usually followed by "Let's go to the park!" Or "let's watch TV!" Hee.
