Happy birthday to me

jan_andreaI'm 32 today. Kind of a boring birthday. Doesn't have much going for it, besides being 2^5. We went to Boston -- MOS, Chinatown for lunch, Target, Trader Joe's. Stephen was cranky, Sophie was restless, still had fun. Stephen was distraught for a while because he didn't have a present for me, and you *have* to have presents on your birthday, but I think I eventually got across to him that it's different when you're a grown-up, and all I really wanted was a hug and kiss.
Now I'm just sleepy. Not looking forward to the stupid-hot weather tomorrow. Must put in the ACs. Glad we live here and not further south, but even so, it shouldn't get to be 96 degrees F in New Hampshire. That's just not right.

Come to New Hampshire, where it used to top out in the 80s, and now we frequently get whole weeks in the high 90s. Garbage "science" making energy policy... happy birthday to me :P
