Almost forgot today's entry!

Today, David's parents took the kids to the beach, to give us some time alone, since we've had all of 4 hours together alone since Sophie was born. They came at around noon, took the kids to the beach and York Wild Kingdom, where Stephen enjoyed the various rides, and apparently both kids had a lot of fun. They said that Sophie didn't cry at all, but she had salt around her eyes -- that means crying. I did send her off with a sippy cup of the milk I pumped after our last Boston trip. I stuck it in an insulated bag and handed it to MIL -- "Here's some snacks for Sophie and Stephen, and some milk for Sophie."
MIL balked, and said, "But David said she wasn't supposed to have milk!"
"Uh," I said, "It's *my* milk." Heh.
So David and I got some very nice alone time. We then met MIL, FIL, and the kids in Portsmouth, and went for dinner at Muddy River (yummy!). A good day was had by all!
Also, I got new sheets -- 360 count. Very luscious. The store is dumb, though -- they want $15 for a twin sheet, and $33 for two pillowcases... so we bought an extra twin sheet, and I was able to make three standard pillowcases, plus a long one for my body pillow. It's so nice to be able to sew! I mean, pillowcases take, like, 10 minutes tops to make. By dumb store math, I saved about $65, though since they don't sell body pillow cases, it's a moot point. Anyway, now all my sheets and pillowcases match, so I can take pictures of Sophie in bed without feeling shabby ;P
