jan_andreaSophia is 16 months old today -- 1 and 1/3 years. Unfortunately, she has a cold, and is Mighty Pissy as a result. David made the mistake of saying so yesterday in Stephen's hearing, and he said, "Why is Sophia pissy?" Well, it doesn't sound funny recounted here, but it was awfully funny in his little preschooler voice. He's got the same cold, but aside from a touch of extra whine, he's been remarkably good about it. I have the cold, too -- cough, runny nose, general ick.
The kids have an appointment for vaccinations tomorrow, but I think I'll have to reschedule it -- not good to vac a sick kid. Sophie was scheduled for the second flu shot, and Stephen for the Hep B we skipped when he was a baby. It's required for kindergarten entry, and I guess we'll be sending him, so he needs to get it :P I'm not happy about that, but at least his immune system is in better shape to cope with it now than when he was 2 weeks old.
I hope they get over this cold soon, though, esp. Sophie. I want my smiley, happy baby back!
