We're been living in our current apartment for 7 years now. We moved in Feb, 2000, when I was 5 months pregnant with Stephen. Moving when pregnant = something I don't recommend  Then again, what with my delicate condition, we did get a lot of help :)
In that time, this apartment has seen two babies born in the master bedroom; one business startup and succeed beyond my wildest dreams; quite a lot of furniture rearrangement on the 3rd floor, in the master bedroom, and in the living room, but none at all in the "library", kitchen, and dining room; two babies learning to go up and down stairs before they can walk; two babies walking into chair rails (ow); two children starting school; and one mom, staying home, while dad goes to work :)
It's getting too small for us, and if we have another baby, that'll certainly be the final straw, but we've had a lot of great memories here. It's going to be hard to leave.
I mean, how many kids can say *of their house* "I was born here!"
