Dec. 26th, 2005 11:55 amSo busy feeling sorry for myself that I forgot to mention David bought me a Coda bow for my viola!!! It's a fantastic bow, plays great loud, soft, and in-between, and will make a big difference in my sound. David's such a peach :)
Stephen got a gorgeous easel from David's grandmother -- we mentioned that he could use an easel, and I was picturing a child's one -- you know, like Melissa & Doug or a plastic one -- but she bought a real artist's easel -- the kind you put the canvas in. It's a tabletop model, so no legs, and it has a drawer for supplies and a handle for carrying. Stephen is totally in love with it, and rightfully so -- I'm envious myself! Just need a canvas and some binder clips so we can attach regular paper to it.
