Serenity -and- a visitor
May. 27th, 2005 12:29 pm<yawn> Serenity was *awesome*. Lived up to the TV series and then some. Can't wait until it comes out "for real" in September! Had to cry in a few places -- lots of emotional punch. But I loved that it answered a number of the questions I'd had from the series. Won't say more for fear of spoilers.
Had a great drive down with Eryk. We talked a lot about music and life, which is as it should be. Got slightly lost because of the stoopid directions to the parking lot -- I should have known better than to trust them, but they said take exit 21 off of 93 south... and there is no exit 21. So I got on 90... west, and then had to pay the toll twice to get back on 90 East. Dumb. At least the parking lot was easy to find once we got to that area. It was pissing down rain, which was yucky, but we were too excited to care :) Alasably, Brian and Robyn were quite late, so we didn't get seats together and Eryk and I ended up in the front row, far left, so the view of the movie was a little peculiar, but that's okay -- I'm just thrilled we got to see it.
( This part is TMI and Eryk will want to skip it. )
Anyway, terribly sorry I haven't been writing and commenting as much lately -- I do read and give thought to all my Friends' entries, I just often don't have much to say in return.
