Stephen is cute!

Today we went to the post office, and on the way back, Stephen picked up a leaf.

"Yook!" he exclaimed, "It's a yeaf!"

"Yes," I said distractedly, "it's a maple leaf."

"It's beautiful," he said. "Just yike Sophia!"

Oh my god, he made me melt!

Tonight, he decided he was SuperStephen. I don't know where he saw Superman -- probably they had a spoof of it on "Between the Lions" or something else on PBS. So he put a blanket on for a cape, and in a move so singularly stereotypical I nearly died laughing, drew himself a backwards S for his chest. OMFG. Too freakin' cute. Here's a picture at right.

Tomorrow or Sunday, I'll make him a real superhero costume, but I thought that was just too adorable for words.

Awwww, that's just too unbearably cute! We were in JoAnn's today buying gargoyle supplies and saw little baby bunting bee costumes. I almost got one so Sophie could be a bee just like Stephen.
