I forgot this

Last night, driving back from the airport... we had been driving north, then rounded a corner to go east... and saw the full moon, orange and newly-risen, just above the trees, come into view. It was absolutely spectacular, and gave me chills. Just gorgeous!

Apparently the moon is extra close to the earth right now, plus the atmospheric conditions, time it rises etc are just right for this optical illusion to occur.
