You know what's hard to find?

A toothbrush holder that holds 5 brushes, particularly the giant-handle type that are so ubiquitous for kids. Right now we're just using a cup, but it gets *so* gross *so* quickly. I'd like something that actually hangs them up, but haven't found anything at any of the big box stores. Even Amazon is turning up empty.

Ew ew ew. I wish we had a medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Oddly, there isn't one:

Does it help if we keep the lid closed when flushing?

Keeping the lid closed is the best thing, yes. The only other thing I'd suggest is keeping the toothbrushes as far away as possible and maybe with those travel covers on the bristles.
