US residents: Are you registered?

I would assume that you all are, but in case you've moved lately or just plain forgot, DON'T FORGET! If you live in a state with same-day registration, great! If not, look into the time frame and DO IT. It's *so* important to vote this year! I would particularly love to see New Hampshire go blue again, so if you're in NH and you haven't registered where you currently live, take some time and make sure it happens.

Um, well, you could have done that until Saturday, but now you have to wait until election day. Still. DON'T FORGET TO VOTE.

Google maps now has a voter registration feature! Check it out: http://maps.google.com/vote

The Obama icon compels you!!

All set and ready to vote for the big O!

I thought of you last weekend-there was a Baby & Toddler Fair here and one of the vendors was a babywearing...group? parents? Anyway, they were selling your directions for your no-sew ring sling with a set of rings for $5. They did have your site address on the top so they were giving you credit for them, and hopefully they were good quality rings. I just wanted you to know, whether it be good or bad.

If it was a not-for-profit or non-profit group, I can't complain; if they were just in it for a quick buck, I'd be pissed, though :( Hopefully it's a real BW group that's doing it as a fundraiser. Would have been nice of them to give me a head's-up, though.

Yay for voting!

Must...obey...the...icon...

LOL. Voter registration here ended 10/10, but I'm registered. I spent the morning printing out my sample ballot and figuring out who to vote for / what state questions I favored. Dang, but it's hard to get information about some of the candidates for local races. Oh, and I got the hours and location of the early voting spot (23 miles away, bah!), because Allyson thinks she won't have a big enough chunk of day to vote on Tuesday.

I registered on Friday, EVEN THOUGH we have same day registration, because I'm going to have to vote before work as the polls close at 7, and I'm hoping to avoid some lines.

Yay! Good Robyn :)

Is it okay for me to admit here that the Obama frenzy freaks me out? I early voted for Nader, you bunch of cultists. Hah! :D

LOL! I think he's like the Jack Kennedy (hopefully minus the affairs and health conditions) for our generation. I don't feel frenzied about him, just way more enthusiastic than I was for Kerry. I was as happy to vote for Gore, though.

Now, Nader voters... lol!

I think most people would have been more surprised if I had voted for Obama, heh :D I really hope he wins my state without my help! I just couldn't strategy-vote like I did last time. I still feel dishonest because I voted for Kerry (he didn't thrill me but I live in a red state! blech.)

and really, I love Nader. He's my kind of crazy :D
